Our YouTube publishing and livestreaming tools (the “Tool”) connect to YouTube through Google OAuth 2.0 authorization. The Tool is operated by the HunanFlavor team to publish videos and manage live streams on channels that we own and control.
What we access. When a Google Account is authorized, the Tool requests two scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload — to upload video files to the authorized channel.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl — to read and manage that channel’s own data: video metadata, playlists, live broadcast settings and stream health.We access only the data needed for those tasks: the authorizing channel’s identity, the metadata of videos we upload, and livestream configuration. We do not access other users’ channels, third-party comments, subscriber personal data, or Google Account profile information beyond the basic channel identity of the authorizing account.
How we use it. YouTube data is used solely to publish content to, and operate live streams on, channels that the authorizing user controls. We do not use YouTube data for advertising, profiling, resale, or any purpose unrelated to publishing.
Sharing. We do not sell, rent, or share YouTube API data with third parties, including advertisers and affiliates. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage. OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted on servers we control, accessible only to the site operator. Video files are kept only as long as needed for upload or archival. YouTube user data is not stored on third-party platforms.
Retention and deletion. You can revoke the Tool’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once access is revoked we delete the stored tokens within 7 days. To request deletion of any data associated with your authorization, email us at the address in the Contact section and we will delete it within 30 days.
YouTube Terms. Use of YouTube data through the Tool is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Newsletter subscriptions and contact messages are stored on our secured website server. We keep them only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legal obligations, abuse prevention, and resolving requests. You may ask us to correct or delete your information by using the email address below.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
